Just taken over a new school and wanted to update the firmware on the Unifi AP Pro's, but when I try to ssh to them I get invalid credentials error. I have contacted the old IT admin but he says I have the only username / password he knows.

I know I could drive over and do a manual reset but is there anyway to do this remotely, to save me arranging someone having to open the school and me a long drive.

Isn't the password viewable via the management console? On my network it's under Settings - Site - Device Authentication

Just taking a guess but I think he must have changed the password using ssh at some point, so the Ap's have a different password to the console.

Yes, the APs will have a different password to the console, but you can still see what that is within the console:

The password in the attached image is the one for changeing all the APs to a new password from the console, I dont think it displays the passwords that are stored on the ap's themselves, otherwise what if you were to set a different password to each of APs using ssh, which one would get displayed.
