Pushing out apps in Mosyle Manager

Hi all,

 

Just in the middle of re-doing our iPads and our Internet speed isnt great at the moment so some of the apps that are pushed out via the Mosyle MDM didnt get installed.

 

Can someone remind me how to force the iPads to check for updates/finish installing the apps?

How many iPads? Sounds like you need a caching server

I usually just hit save on the install app profile without making any changes to force the targeted devices to check for missing apps.

Only 30 devices being configured at the moment.

 

It's just our Internet is pi55 poor. We are currently having it changed.

regardless ipads are greedy af, get a caching server for your own sanity. takes no setup its all transparent - when a client asks for something from apple they will check the ip the request comes from to see if theres a cache server also at that ip and ask the client to check there first.

 

Could even use another mac computer in the school if its on all the time, just need to spend £15 on "server"
