[windows software] SPLA licencing - When do we need to report to Microsoft?

HI all.

 

We are currently looking at getting a Service Provider Licence Agreement with Insight. Its a pay monthly agreement, where we need to report to Microsoft each month how many licences we are using.

 

My question is, when do we need to report this? Is it as soon as we start setting our servers up and installing licences, or is it when we go into production and start giving customers access to the servers?

 

I assume this is a question Insight will answer when I talk to them but was wondering if anyone on here knew.

Hi, Microsoft require the SPLA report by the 15th of the month. Your SPLA distributor may ask you for it slightly sooner to give them time to process.
