[scholarpack] Webmerge / Mailmerge a document and send out via email to parents

I have been asked to help logistically with a project and part of it requires an excel spreadsheet containing the following columns:

 

Parent First Name, Parent Surname, Email address, Unique Code

 

What i'd like to do is use the COMMS module of ScholarPack. I have no experience of ScholarPack as we use Bromcom at our place but on quick glance, i see CustomFields (?)

 

I'd like to be able to send emails out to all parents that are listed in the Excel sheet and send the unique code out too - just like a mailmerge document.

 

The email will only contain Parent First Name, Parent Surname and Unique Code.

 

Can ScholarPack do this?

I dont think it's possible to do so have decided to use a MailMerge addon for Google Mail and Sheets - seems to work.

Any reason you can’t use a generic email and just mail merge via outlook?

 

We do this to send out link codes.

ScholarPack reporting is very basic, though you can do a mail merge but only using certain fields in their system, you cant define it in the report like you can with Bromcom, as above i recommend doing a word/outlook mail merge
