Dumpton20 Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Hi, I asked for a quote to update our current agreement for 400 pupils and 150 staff. We have a hybrid AD, with Azure connect sync to cloud. I'm confused how items for Quantity 64 relates to users. Anyone other than a sales person explain why I need the quantities and SKU items? snagrat Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 That licensing is done on FTE which they have somehow got to the figure of 64? What was it before you asked for the increase in numbers?
Dumpton20 Posted February 25, 2021 Author Posted February 25, 2021 Hi, these are the same numbers from the original quote from 3 years ago, but I'm not sure how these were generated in the first place. What do you mean by FTE = Full Time Education? We're an independant school from Nursery to Year 8's How does 450 pupils and 150 staff equate to 64? What figures should they be using for each sku

Assuming you had more than 64 staff when the agreement was taken out your not correctly licenced
Dumpton20 Posted February 25, 2021 Author Posted February 25, 2021 Hi, Who determines the figures, as i'll ask our bursar to verify these numbers. We have part time staff and term time only but not sure they'd be classed as FTE. If for instance a gardener works more than those hours, he couldn't be classed as he'd not need access to 365. Are there some set rules other than hours that determines these FTE's?
Guest Guest Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Anybody who works more than 200 hours per year counts as an FTE regardless of whether their term time only or part time with the exception of anyone who doesn't use Technology as part of their job.
