School Communication System recommendations

We're currently looking at the systems in school and whether we can save any money using alternative products. We currently use:

 

Groupcall

Show My Homework

School Cloud - Room Booking and Parents Evening.

 

Our MIS is SIMS so they would need to intergrate.

 

Can anyone recommend alternatives?

Groupcall Messenger I still think is the best Comms facility on the market (but I am a little biased because I helped build it for 6 years!)

 

For homework, check out MILK as a decent alternative, loads happening over there.

 

For parents evening, check our PEBS (Parents Evening Booking System) as an alternative, they are also very good (though school cloud are great still; have just been purchased by TES).

 

Are you also looking at payment systems? Event management? Anything else all connected?

Would happily throw Edulink into the mix. Great company, support and service is second to none and they constantly take on board feedback, apply improvements and upgrades for no extra cost and tick a hell of a lot of boxes.

Second EduLink. Would do 2 of the 3 on your list and cost wise we saved money just moving from Groupcall messenger to EduLink, then we also closed down about 3 other products which EduLink as a system covered, so overall we made several £k in savings each year.

Great product that just keeps evolving and adding features.

 

Support is excellent.
