Ditto Posted February 8, 2021 Posted February 8, 2021 Better still, WfH - although I know that's not an option or want for all.
MatthewL Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Tried my location in and its fairly accurate from days when I was travelling all over the UK, a couple of discrepancies but on the whole not bad. Put in a few know areas where its surprising how long it does take people to get from A to B and its echoed what is real.
Andrew_C Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Overly optimistic around here. Might work during lock-down, but out by 50% for a normal Monday.
TechMonkey Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Yeah, did my place and the footprint looks overly large, considering what it takes me to do normally on a clear day. Interesting concept and nice to use as a rough guide though
mikeprice Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Tried this and it worked fine for where I worked pre 2001 - for public transport also worked well for cycling but when I came to try it for driving it was way over optimistic - even assuming totally clear roads also very optimistic for country roads when I tried it for where I used to work in North Wales - worked fine when the car would go direct to the A55 Expressway but optimistic when you would need to go much distance off the main road
