Capita Acquires IBS OpenSystems

UK outsourcing company Capita Group has acquired IBS OpenSystems for 77.7m pounds ($151m),

 

IBS, which is also based in the UK, provides software systems and related services for the management of social housing to more than 230 local authorities and housing associations.

 

Paul Pindar, chief executive of Capita, said: "We believe that our established strength in the UK outsourcing market will add further creditability and scale to IBS, allowing it to service a wider range of potential customers and projects."
