SharePoint Document Library

Hi Everyone,

 

I have taken over the role of SharePoint admin at our school after the data manager left in Dec.

 

I'm awaiting Training but in the meantime I have an issue with a document library shortcut within a site.

 

I created the new document library without issue and then I want to create a shortcut to that document library on a site.

However, when I do it it works fine, but I get a toolbar appear at the top of the library that I can't seem to get rid of. The other shortcuts that have been created (not by me) do not have this. What am I doing wrong?
