Mote VoiceNotes - is it free for education?

Looking at Mote I cant see if it is free for Education or not? I registered and my account says I am on a 15 day trial.

Do students need to have Mote downloaded and be registered to listen to the voicenotes?

It's freemium, so it all depends on what your needs are as a school.

No, they don't. It just shows a link where the teacher has posted the voice note, which takes them to a separate page to listen to it.

Yeah, what @j224 said. You don't need the Mote extension to be able to listen to voice note, although having the extension means you can listen to the voice note without leaving the page. Otherwise, you have to click on the link and be redirected to the mote page.

 

It's a freemium model, but the free version will work for most people, although some of the premium features are very good indeed!
