googlemad Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 Not sure if there are many NHSMail admins on here but they've been migrating accounts to Office 365 recently and seem to be going a bit more 'full steam ahead' after a few teething issues when they initially kicked off the project Anyway we have had a bit of a stressful week since we have a number of accounts set up to various servers and the like which suddenly came to a grinding halt with logs showing '4.3.1 Insufficient System Resources', hmm well the mailboxes aren't at quota and the system resources are in the cloud so not much we can do about those, initially we wrote it off as a temporary blip with NHSMail Turns out they had migrated the accounts to Office 365 (they do send a warning email to the mailbox that they are about to do this, but since we don't generally open these mailboxes we aren't going to see that!) So if you have any services configured to use pop.nhs.net and send.nhs.net they simply need changing to outlook.office365.com and smtp.office365.com You can check what platform a specific account is running on under the NHSMail admin portal, 'Exchange on premise' is the NHS platform and 'Exchange online' is the 365 platform
MatthewL Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 Interesting that, all NHS Mail admin meetings and information we've been sent says that nothing needs changing from the NHS.net ones, I think the majority of our application mailboxes used for purposes like that have all been migrated with no issues. 1
free780 Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 It'll get even more interesting when Basic Authentication gets turned off. Hopefully oauth will be used with IMAP, POP etc. 1

MatthewL Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 If you have it on your phone and your a NHS Mail admin 2FA will be enabled, you need to disable that, re-add the account and then re-enable 2FA and it will be fine.
