coolhands Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 I have an aspect for each subject (eg 'Engage Ar' for Art) in all year groups marksheets. I want to change their results sets from eg 'Y7 Data 4' to 'Y7 Engage 1'. But there are other aspects within Y7 Data 4 so I just want to get these particular aspects and change their result sets. So ordinary I would go in to the subject marksheet, right-click and change the result set. But rather than do this for each subject for each year group (as I have so many to do) is there a quicker way? I suspect I know the answer really...but just checking! I really want to be able to change the result set for a whole bunch of aspects from one screen eg when you gto tools>performance>delete a selection of results or whatever (if you know what I mean)
RootsSchImp Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 I don't know a way to do this in bulk, but I do have a small hack that will make doing them one by one slightly less tedious. When you open the list to choose a new resultset is the existing one selected or does it put you at the top? If the latter, edit the name of the resultset to make it '!Y7 Engage 1' - ie putting it first alphabetically. Then when you open the list to choose a new resultset it will already be selected and you can just hit return to close the list. If the existing one is selected then edit the name to make it 'xY7 Engage 1' then you can hit x to find it rather than using the mouse. After you're finished you change the name back to what it's supposed to be. Alt+U is also faster than using the mouse to close and update the edit aspect pop up. Good luck wading through the SIMS drudge Ed
