networkmangler Posted January 13, 2021 Posted January 13, 2021 I have been told that recently (end of last week, beginning of this one) OneDrive has been becoming unusable/unresponsive at about 3 pm everyday. Staff unable to login, strange error messages etc Staff working on site and at home have both noticed it, so I don't think it's a network issue The issue seems to last for a little while and then sort itself out and work fine Has anyone else had this issue?

Yeah we've also seen this issue with staff accessing SharePoint online... 1
DaveTheTech Posted January 13, 2021 Posted January 13, 2021 Microsoft Teams Downdetector seems to be fairly accurate with issues/slow downs that our teachers have seen. 9am and 4pm see peaks for most of the days so far this week. I presume its EVERYONE joining for a register at 9 and then sending asignments at 4. This morning was OK. So hopefully they have sorted something out 1
psydii Posted January 13, 2021 Posted January 13, 2021 Monday and Tuesday Teams chat had a wobble around 9am. (see Service Health dashboard on admin.microsoft.com) Yesterday SharePoint and a lot of other bits of Office 365 wobbled around 3-5pm when a London Datacenter took an unauthorised leave of absence: "We've identified that the issue occurred in a datacenter located in London, and thus the majority of impact was for users located in the United Kingdom. Additionally, users in other European countries such as France and Spain may have been impacted if their connections were routed through the affected components in the London datacenter." To echo DaveTheTech, So far today I've not had any reports that were attributable to instability/overload in Office365. So they may have shaken things out and got used to the new normal patterns of load. 1

Current problems and outages for the UK | Downdetector The graph matches exactly the times we had the issue's. At least I now know it's not just us, it doesn't make it any less frustrating knowing we are not alone though
