Since updating Windows my 2nd screen doesn’t work

I’ve noticed that 3 of my machines (all the same make) won’t allow a 2nd screen after I updated my Windows 10.

 

I used to have one screen in VGA port and one in HDMI port.

 

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers but that didn’t help.

The screens work fine so it’s not them.

 

I was reading something about it being hardware related and certain Windows installs won’t work on different hardware?

 

Anyone had this issue or know a work around as really could do with the 2nd screen working.
