As I worked in central Liverpool for 20 years the song was wrecked for me - and most of Liverpool - by being EVERYWHERE

especially at Pier Head whenever the Ferry came in

 

totally over played

 

 

Great song though

 

 

now - when sung properly - which means by the Kop in full voice

THAT is a totally different matter
