Afternoon,

This is a bit of a strange one but hopefully it makes sense.

I have a Smoothwall firewall that is used for all internet traffic apart from VOIP. Behind the Smoothwall I have a HP Core Switch with VLANs configured including Server VLAN. For VOIP Traffic, I have a pfsense firewall installed in the VOIP VLAN with a public IP and going straight out to the ISP router. I have a persistent route added on the VOIP server for the Server VLAN which points to the HP Switch as the gateway (needed for DNS).

However the Phones cannot connect to the phone server/internet and the VOIP server cannot connect to the internet when using the internal DNS servers.

I feel like I am missing something obvious. This was working until I moved the physical servers into a new rack.

Any help appreciated!

Thanks
