TLARWise Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 I have a pupil that is having an issue viewing the assignments page of some of his groups on his home laptop. He has tried using Edge, Chrome and Firefox with the same result. Edge/Chrome displays the error 'classroom.thenational.academy refused to connect' while Firefox goes in to a bit more detail with the error 'Firefox Can't Open This Page. To protect your security, classroom.thenational.academy will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window.' I have tried accessing his account from within school using all three web browsers and I am able to view the pages with no issues. From what I can see no classroom.thenational.academy content is embedded in to any Teams assignments (although a link is included in a couple of assignments). Has anyone else come across this issue before and found a way around it? Thanks
steveg Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 Can they download the teams app and use that? Have they got any security software (or spyware / malware) installed on the browsers that intercepts traffic?
TLARWise Posted December 15, 2020 Author Posted December 15, 2020 They have tried the Teams app but the page comes up completely blank no errors are shown at all. I have asked and he says he hasn't got any security software installed but I have asked him to send over the tasklist to confirm. I also got him to install Malwarebytes and run the ESET Online Scanner but they both came back clean.
