SIMS Registration Suite

Hi folks,

 

We use Edukey's Class Charts for our attendance monitoring and registering in lessons. It writes sessional attendance back to SIMS.

 

Has anyone gone down this route and removed SIMS Registration Suite from their annual entitlement? I'm not sure what student attendance data we would be left with in SIMS, and how the school census would pick it up.

Are you referring to Lesson Monitor? You'll still need it if you want to work with lesson attendance data. SIMS Core Suite includes the barebones attendance module for daily AM/PM registration.

 

With regards to the Census, I believe the only data required for submission are the AM and PM reg marks - marks for individual lessons aren't counted.
