The latest perpetual motion machine looking for crowd funding - scam written all over it

 

or hopeful inventor looking to develop the next big thing

 

but.....

 

even just out of interest/fun

 

looks to me like - it is 'works' the way they say - it might actually generate some assistance on a bumpy road (even normal type roads) where you weight moving up and down helps a bit

but probably not

 

anyway - just something to talk about or laugh at maybe

Isn't it just a fly wheel? I don't understand what the springs are adding.

I think they are trying to say that when the spokes reach the bottom the springs are compressed by the rider's weight - then when it goes back up again the tension is released and converted to rotation - hence free power

 

which is great - just get a massive version and put a big weight on it and use it to drive a dynamo and connect it to the National Grid - free electric!!!!!

But the springs are (roughly) parallel to the ground so won't compress at that point. Looking at the blurry video it seems to show compression at the top and one side but although my physics is rusty surely that will be offset by expansion on the other side?

And anyway - if it (whatever 'it' is) is compressed by the weight

 

and them releases the compression at a later point where it assists the rotation of the wheel

 

then we are back to perpetual motion - so, unless the whole basis of physics is way out - something is going to counter that concept

I have no idea what this means... Looking at the explanation video it looks like they are saying that the springs are compressed and as they spin round they decompress and add force the wheel rotation. But surely the springs compressing in the first place is removing that force from the wheel in the first place?

 

The demo shows them pushing down on the bike wheel while it is static, then lifting it up and seeing the wheel move a little bit. Like that somehow proves it all works.

 

€400 a pop...... I'm really in the wrong job.
