ChesRuff Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Hello folks, Looking for a method to get a Chrome page to load full screen - as if you pressed F11 - when the user of the PC logs on, or a Kiosk type mode if Chrome has that? I have managed to get the page to load at login by putting the URL shortcut in: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp I just can't seem to be able to get it to load full screen. Does anyone have any ideas on how? Thank you,
Chaniel Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 (edited) You want to run this (without Chrome open already) "c:\Program Files (x86)\google\Chrome\application\chrome.exe" --kiosk "https://www.google.com" You can use GPO to run at user logon: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/troubleshoot/windows-client/system-management-components/run-programs-automatically Alternatively, you can create a shortcut to Chrome and edit the target field with the --kiosk part and whack that in the Startup folder Edited November 16, 2020 by Chaniel 1
DaveTheTech Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Beaten to it, but I'd like to say that this would still allow the user to close the window or exit the full screen view.
chazzy2501 Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Windows 10 has an easy mode Kiosk mode built in now. Make a Kiosk user and give them chrome and a url and bam full screen chrome no logon needed, CTRL+ALT+DEL to login as a normal user. 1
