[ms office - o365] Teams exe detected as malware

Hi all

 

I’ve had two computers on different sites in the last week detect malware in a teams.exe - has anyone else seen an increase of this type of fake teams client malware?

 

Malware Name: Trojan:Win32/Rotaderp.B

Number of infections: 1

 

These are the infections of this malware:

1. Computer name: xxx-WK-R23-02.xxx.internal

Domain: xxx

Detection time(UTC time): 11/13/2020 5:21:01 PM

Malware file path: containerfile:_C:\Windows\Installer\cfa78.msi;file:_C:\Windows\Installer\cfa78.msi->contents.cab->Teams.exe
