Signed into Acrobat with incorrect account - Offering trial but now cannot sign out!

As per the title...

Finally got round to putting my first bit of Adobe software on the Business Manager's computer.

Unfortunately for me, he is a little bit of a button pusher and managed to get himself signed in to Acrobat with a non-Adobe account.

Now, it is giving him these options:

1. Quit Acrobat

2. Buy

3. Start Free Trial

None of these are what we want, but there is no other way to get out of it...

Should I start a free trial and then try to log out?

I don't want to muck up the install or have any random accounts sitting on the machine.

This is my first foray into the wonderful world of Adobe, so go easy on me.

This is adobe acrobat dc which requires a license to use. The free version is adobe reader.

What sort of licensing do you have for Adobe Acrobat DC?

Yes, it's Adobe Acrobat DC (we have named licenses through LGfL).

I presume as he entered the 'wrong' account email address it has just decided he can have the options above (quit, buy or free trial).

If he had entered the correct email address for the account it would have been ok.

The problem is, if he accepts any of the options given will it mess anything up? Or can he just then sign out of the 'wrong' account (free trial) and then still be able to sign in with the correct account after (I'm thinking yes, but want to make sure before I tell him to do it).

I just don't want it to cause any problems with the Acrobat DC install (like make it a trial in the registry or something)...

Do you have the adobe creative cloud application installed. You might be able to sign out of this which might sign you out of Adobe Acrobat. I can't give a definite answer but I can't see any harm in starting the trial just so you can sign out and sign in with the correct account.

Yes, there is no option other than to install the Creative Cloud App - creating the package includes it automatically.

I'm not sure if he used that as Acrobat is all he's interested in, so he would have just started Adobe Acrobat DC by clicking the shortcut icon, which then asked him to sign-in....

I will see what happens if I open the Creative Cloud app.

Worse thing is he clicked something that automatically signed him in with some other account that was open in a browser window rather than him having to type anything in.

He says he clicked sign-in with Google - instead of manually typing his GSuite log-in (as Federated ID with our Domain tied to Google).

So I can't blame him really as I did tell him he would need to sign in with his GSuite ID and GSuite = Google...

If they are supposed to be logging on with an Enterprise/Federated account as part of Creative Cloud integration with Office365/Google:

When we have similar issues, we open an incognito browser, sign into adobe with the broken account and then DELETE the broken account. (THIS IS A ONE WAY TRIP AND ALL DATA PHOTOS DOCUMENTES ETC in Creative Cloud for this account will be DELETED)

Then they can sign in to the Apps again using the correct account, which now correctly redirects to the enterprise/federated sign-in process.

Thanks all,

Creative Cloud was the way to go, verified by the Adobe Enterprise Support agent...

Unfortunately, that wanted him to sign-in with the 'wrong' account as well - I have told him to open the Adobe stuff in a completely separate browser not just another window in the same browser!
