Anki software error - filtering?

Hi, the head of PE asked me to download some software called ‘Anki’ https://apps.ankiweb.net/ but even though the top level level domain is whitelisted in our Sophos web appliance, the software errors when trying to ‘sync’. Just wondered if anyone out there has any knowledge of this software and what you did to get it working?

 

The error states that ‘A network error occurred’. os error 10061.

Have you checked all the normal bits in their instructions? https://docs.ankiweb.net/#/syncing?id=proxies

 

Things like it doesn't pick up transparent proxy/Auto config (else needs manually settings)/SSL interception can break it etc

 

10061 is connection refused, which sounds like it might be one of those two

Thanks for the link Steve. I will have a look at the info and see if I have the powers to resolve this! Hopefully any solution doesn’t require any permissions to the servers or I will be screwed
