Scifigirl Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 If in wrong place please feel free to move. We had an issue with iPads saying they are connecting but not actually connecting to our wi-fi network. In the short term, resetting the network settings worked, although it renamed the iPads, back to iPad. We were due to upgrade our wi-fi so we weren't too bothered. Now we have replaced our Wi-fi (Meraki, cloud controller MR42/36 points), however the problem has carried on. Has anyone else experienced this? We do have Jamf and I am using the enforce name part of it, however, it sometimes takes some time to kick in. Any help appreciated.
DJ-1701 Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 What type of wireless network are they connecting to? Just a personal key one, or using radius with certificates? I remember having nightmares with radius and certificates when setting up via Configurator. 1

Scifigirl Posted October 12, 2020 Author Posted October 12, 2020 Could be this if you have iPadOS14... They do have it now but this was/is happening on iOS 10, 12, and 13 too.
