Hi all,

I have a quick query please - I'm fairly sure I'm right in what I'm thinking but I'm second guessing myself....

With regards muting students in a Class Team (not a meeting, etc.). Staff (who are owners of the Team), can select Manage Team, then Members & Guests and select the Mute Students tick box - all fine, as expected.

What I'm second guessing myself on is if there is any way to set this centrally, or automate via PowerShell, etc., so staff don't need to manually do it once a Class has been "activated" so the students can access it? I'm fairly sure there isn't a way (currently), but I would appreciate any input - especially if there is a way!

Cheers.

I was just looking to see if I could find a PowerShell command to stop kids posting in the general channel when we use PowerShell to create teams... unfortunately you can't, there is a UserVoice request for this. https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/38966725-i-want-to-be-able-to-set-channel-moderation-with-p

Thanks - I thought as much and have also seen the UserVoice - we're also using PowerShell to create our Teams, would be useful if anyone who uses Salamander etc. could confirm it's the same via that and there's not something magic they're doing?
