Pipz Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 Hi all, At my school we largely rely on heads of departments setting cover work and positioning it in the relevant rooms. For longer term supply / those issued with laptops, the work/lesson is emailed directly. I'm interested to hear how other schools manage this to hopefully refine our own system as it's rather reliant on people physically moving work around! TIA Pipz
hardtailstar Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 We have an email address that all teachers have to email their work to with date, classroom/class and lesson period. We have cover supervisors who have access to that email and pick the work up from there. It's also tracked by the person in charge off the cover supervisors and the head.
Pipz Posted October 6, 2020 Author Posted October 6, 2020 Sounds better already! Do you issue your day supply with laptops / access to SIMs etc?

They are employed by the school so yes they have their own laptop and login details etc. Any supply teachers that we need to get in get given a laptop for the day with a generic login. 1
