[sims] Remove timetabled lessons without removing staff/students from class

Hi

I'm looking for a way, towards the end of the year when some students are on exam leave, to remove the timetabled lessons for staff and students without removing the staff and students from those classes.

I still need to run reports that show the teacher and students as being members of that group/class.

Any ideas please?

Not sure, but I wonder if it's possible to do it by reducing the number of periods in the timetable model (for my school that would be within Nova-T6) to zero for the relevant classes while leaving everything else unchanged?

 

I'd want to find a way of testing it first though in case it wrecked anything mid-year!

If it's in SIMS, there are a couple of ways;

1. Using COVER in SIMS, you can suspend classes

2. In NOVA you can UNSCHEDULE the classes you wish to drop off the cycle.
