Evening all,

We have updated our VDI to Office 2019, and are now using the registry key ZeroConfigExchange to auto create profiles.

Works great, but the users get a login box every time time they open Office to log into our 365 tenant.(not the manage my device one, just an authentication login box, branded the same as our tenant)

These are on-prem mailboxes, and although we are in a hybrid, we don't use clould mailboxes. Why do they get this, and can it be turned off?

Is ZeroConfigExchange not the way to go, should we be doing it another whizzy way?

Thanks

James

It's not a simple login Windows box with Remember Password, it's a proper full on branded O365 login box similar to what you get when logging into O365 management. I wish I could click Remember Password!

Out of interest you haven't upgraded from office 2010 or 2013 have you? If so you need to rip out all the windows messaging stuff from the registry as it stops auto config working properly with 2016 or 2019. Took BKGARRY and me days to work that one out when I hit that one
