TwistedHelixis Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 Would someone mind sharing their UAC group policy that gets applied to the DC, not concerned about the one that gets applied to domain clients, just DC. Thanks :0)
Katy Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 Had a quick look and there is none applied to our DCs (as in, everything to do with UAC is "Not configured") so I guess it's whatever the default settings are. 1

Katy Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 Saying that, with the default settings we can't do things like look at files Administrators have permissions to without going through UAC prompts, I just put up with it (and generally access from another server via UNC path as that bypasses it) 1
Boredguy Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 Other than Security Settings for applying changes to the Audit Policy, User Rights Assignment for some of the accounts, we don't have anything else set in our default Domain Controllers Policy. And most of those settings are donkeys years old as it started off as a Windows 2000 domain controller policy. 1
Sheridan Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Default here too - very little policies applied to the DCs 1
