[sims] Temporary re-rooming

Hello,

 

This is probably an incredibly stupid question, so please do tell me to shove off/move/delete the post as necessary, but...

 

I'm trying to find a way of making some rolling room changes within SIMS that a) wouldn't involve touching NOVAT and b) will reflect correctly on student's timetables come September.

 

I've a distant memory that this is possible via cover manager, but I can't seem to make it work.

 

Any and all thoughts greatly appreciated.

Hi,

 

yes it is possible through cover, in SIMS.net go to 'Focus | Schools | Arrange cover', select and open the day you want the room closure to start the click the 'New Closure' button to add a room closure. you will then be asked to provide an alternative for all classes scheduled to take place in that room.
