newpersn Posted August 19, 2020 Posted August 19, 2020 Got a 2 schools with issues with sending email thought office 365 smtp. (Photocopier and Veeam) Accounts and passwords are fine as i have checked. I get connection issues with Veeam on Port 587. (Both schools are on SWGFL) Anyone else having issues?
Boredguy Posted August 19, 2020 Posted August 19, 2020 E-mailing via our SMTP Office relay on SWGfL seems fine. We do have a local SMTP relay that then connects to the Office365 one via 587 instead of each device connecting directly to Office

Have you asked RM (SWGfL) to unblock the port on the RM firewall?
newpersn Posted August 19, 2020 Author Posted August 19, 2020 Have you asked RM (SWGfL) to unblock the port on the RM firewall? It was all working fine Friday/Monday. Just stopped working overnight.
chazzy2501 Posted August 19, 2020 Posted August 19, 2020 do your devices support tls 1.2 or above? o365 wont accept lower versions anymore.
southhamster Posted August 19, 2020 Posted August 19, 2020 It was all working fine Friday/Monday. Just stopped working overnight.Could it be related to the problems at the London data centre yesterday? SWGfL was down for a while because of it. Maybe something hasn't come back properly?

newpersn Posted August 19, 2020 Author Posted August 19, 2020 Update form the grid. Was a fault with the firewall and fixed the issue. Wonder if they fixed it for all swgfl customers 1
