Is there a live chat support type feature in teams?

 

I’m trying to have a ‘support’ chat that any end user can use to try and get support but that the whole team is subscribed to and can pickup a conversation from. Thus avoiding people being messaged directly.

 

The advantages from email are the machine remote control is already built in and working.

You could create an IT Group and then ask staff use that to chat at. Not sure if you can create a link that would start a chat with certain people involved. Only downside would be that you will end up with many chat conversations in Teams, but that is a small niggle.

Just played around and you can't link to groups but you can add multiple users using a comma seperated list
