Lenovo 100e 2nd Gen BIOS password

Hello all,

 

I've currently got 12 Lenovo 100e 2nd Gen laptops which in the current climate was setup and supplied by the government for students to work from home.

 

We're now wanting to image these laptops so they can be used by staff when term starts in September. However, I've hit some issues:

 

1. The laptops don't have LAN ports, making it more or less impossible to boot from PXE (I have tried with USB to LAN adaptor, leads me onto my next issue)

2. The main issue, these laptops have Supervisor passwords on them which we can't seem to remove.

 

Does anyone know a way of removing the supervisor password from them? They are one of the newer models I believe so I've not been able to find anything just yet online.

hi there have you flash the bios to see if this work with the usb nic dose it pic up the drivers from there or ca you boot from media eg a dvd or usb device see what happens
