The IT Services team support all academies within The GORSE Academies trust allowing all members of the team to share knowledge and best practice effectively. With the support of the newly formed Infrastructure and Development team all academies will have continued development of IT systems and services and the opportunity for personal CPD.

Boston Spa Academy is the most recent academy to join The GORSE Academies Trust. Since joining the Trust in September 2018, the academy has invested heavily in IT equipment and IT infrastructure throughout. In addition to this Elliott Hudson College at Boston Spa opened in September 2019 as part of the first phase of capital investment in the academy. The successful candidate will work with key stake holders and senior leaders on designing and implementing future developments in the academy.

To be successful you must be passionate about IT, education and delivering an outstanding service, and be committed to our vision, values and culture. You must be a strong team player who shares our values and appreciates the benefits of working in partnership and collaboration with others. You will ideally have at least 2 years’ experience, but applications from willing candidates with less experience are welcome.

The trust is a vibrant and forward-thinking teaching community which places all students, and in particular those who come from the most challenging backgrounds, at the centre of its work. You will be exposed to colleagues from all our partner schools and in addition to being a key member of the academy team you will work with the central team, its directors, and the executive office.

Please ensure that you read through our application pack carefully and read about the work of the Academy on the website.

We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of children, and applicants will be subject to full employment checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure. We promote diversity and aim to establish a workforce that reflects the population of Leeds.
