APPRENTICE IT / AV SUPPORT ENGINEER (Level 3) OR TRAINEE IT/AV SUPPORT ENGINEER

Full time 36 hours per week (8am to 4pm Monday to Friday) (appropriate release time for relevant training will be provided for an apprenticeship post)

Fixed term 12 month contract

£12,000 per annum (slightly higher salary might be considered for trainee position depending on qualifications and experience of candidate)

We are looking for an Apprentice IT/AV Support Engineer or Trainee IT/AV Support Engineer to join our IT Support Department and undertake a variety of tasks on a daily basis which will develop as the post holder’s knowledge and skills increase. Working at Wilson’s School offers the chance to gain a much broader range of skills than would normally be available to an apprentice or trainee.

An Apprenticeship position will offer the opportunity to gain a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification on successful completion of the training. A trainee position will offer the post holder on the job training and will allow the post holder to develop their skills, knowledge and experience although no formal qualification will be gained.

The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in and enthusiasm for working with computers in a customer support role. You will have a desire to learn, a positive attitude and good literacy and numeracy skills.
