Hi All,

We have set up one to one teacher laptop with Intune with auto pilot with MDT ( Hybrid domain joined). Now we are aiming to replace our ICT suite PCS and updating the existing windows machines ( shared devices ) to intune.

How did you do it? What is the easiest way to update the existing PCs to win 2004, hybrid joined and manage by intune. any intel would be appreciated.

Thanks

If you've got ConfigMgr you can enable co-management and enrol all devices to Intune and then opt to offload different workloads from ConfigMgr to Intune (like Device Configuration and Windows Updates for example). That's how we're doing it. Intune is doing Windows Updates and Feature updates for all our client devices - hybrid joined devices and Azure AD only AutoPilot devices.

You could look at making a provisioning package with windows imaging and configuration designer and then using powershell and group policy to push it out to join them to intune. When they are in intune you can set up a Windows update for business policy to update them to Win 2004.
