Built my son a new pc for his birthday the other month. I'd been gathering bits since March and using a mix of new and used parts managed to make him an entire new system for about £300. This was based on a Ryzen 3200G, 16GB DDR4 2666 and RX 580 8GB graphics.

This was always intended to be a platform to build on so I can add new components without having to buy many others at the same time i.e. not having to buy a new motherboard to match a new CPU etc.

The first upgarade was swapping out the 3200G for something with much more grunt, so got him a Ryzen 2600. I had to get a new cooler for this though as the stock Wraith Stealth, although useable, won't be the best for more intensive tasks.

After seeing this review on Tech YES City I decided to get a Snowman cooler from AliExpress as at only £14.45 inc. shipping it seemed to offer great value. And I wasn't wrong.

For such a cheap cooler it is quiet, efficient and has impressed me greatly. In 3D Mark the Wraith cooler was clocking in at 85 degrees under load and the Snowman about 65!

So, if you have an AMD or Intel system (it comes with a mounting adaptor) I would highly recommend it!
