maxrebo Posted July 2, 2020 Posted July 2, 2020 Whats the best way to do this? Teacher kicks student out of meeting but they can rejoin again straight after as far as I can see?
jthompson Posted July 2, 2020 Posted July 2, 2020 Which platform? On G Suite, we created an Admin role that allows staff to suspend student accounts to immediately prevent them from disrupting Meet sessions. The directory sync task runs after the end of each lesson period to reenable them automatically.

jthompson Posted July 2, 2020 Posted July 2, 2020 Ah, okay. Not using that in anger here so not as familiar with it, but in principle temporary account suspensions until the end of the session might be a way to do it. Quite heavy handed in that it kicks them out of everything, but it should take effect immediately and 'undoing' it is pretty immediate, too.
