Academic Year Delete

Morning all

 

I am having a few issues with SIMs - and as usual Capita are being a bit rubbish!

 

My data manager has created the new academic year without putting in the Bank Holidays, staff development days and half terms thinking she could edit these later. Now SIMs crashes when we try to edit the year, and i don't know how to delete the year, and start again.

 

Any thoughts..?

Routines / School / Delete Latest Academic Year should do it (I've never used it myself, so you may want to make sure you have backups before proceeding).

 

I'm surprised you cannot edit the one that's there though.

Yes this is what i have tried (both). it's bizarre, i have edited a year before, but not now..? i am working from home at the moment, so i wonder if my connection is timing out...

 

I have backed everything up, don't worry. Hate SIMs, but apparently Capita are selling this...

If you can, we do these operations from the server to rule time outs as they are quiet heavy operations.

Hi Sorry - when you mean do from the server - would this be one specific machine/person - in school who could do this?
