I have a really old spare server at a home for testing, with hyper v installed.

Currently I have a test DC vm with AD, DHCP & DNS setup in a similar way to a school, so it has a 10.xx.xx.xx ip.

Obviously I need to keep the vm DC hidden from the real network.

I also have 1 windows 10 client that I will be connecting to the virtual DC server so I have a little virtual domain.

Obviously I can connect an internal vm adapter to the Windows 10 vm so it can communicate with the server, but I also need it to communicate with the real world through my router which is on 192.168.xx.xx ip.

Is it possible to connect the Win 10 vm to both systems at the same time??

Yes, just have 2 virtual switches, and add a second virtual network adapter. Enable the firewall on the internet connected one to avoid any home LAN things connecting to it
