SIMS Roles with Pastoral Structure

Hello, I'm new to the whole SIMS scene, and I am looking for some help and guidance.

 

I've just set up my schools Pastoral Structure of the next Academic Year. I work at a relatively large secondary school and we have recently introduced a new level within the Pastoral, almost like a second Head of Year, named as Progress Leaders. Is there any way to include these in the Pastoral Structure on SIMS?

You can add additional supervisors at the Year or form level by right clicking the Supervisors icon at the relevant level.

 

There are couple in there by default but you can add others using the Tools>Lookups>Maintain menu route and search for Supervisor Title.

 

I don't think in practical terms there is any difference in what the different titles can do or see - it gives them the same access to marksheets etc as the HOY or Form Tutor depending at what level they are inserted.
