Papercut Release Station Configuration

Simple query, so hopefully a simple answer.

 

In papercut release station, there is lots of config options for changing login, display colours etc.... but is there a hidden/undocumented option to disable the "exit" button in the release station once logged in, otherwise users can close the application by accident.

 

Wanted to check before going to the effort of working out a way to keep launching the app if accidently closed.

Well isn't that a fun question.

 

It's years since I looked at the release station, but the screenshots of it don't show the "Exit" button.

 

I'm certain there is a way to disable it but, like you, I can't see/find one in the options!

Right, it's to do with the user rights of who signs into the release station (not who is signed into the PC running the software).

 

My test student account can't exit, but my test staff accounts both can exit it...

Ah thats good then.

Only tested as an admin account so far so wanted to make sure I wasn't going completely mad. Bad enough finding rfid readers and cards that I can use for it an the paxton system we have
