Out of interest - What stylus / pen are you currently supplying or recommending for use with iPads / tablet devices at present?

 

Apple pencil is great but the cost is really prohibitive for us on a large scale, but would be good to supply staff with a stylus to help ease use in the classroom.

Do the iPads support Generation 1 or 2 pencils?

The vast majority of our iPads were bought in the past 2 years, so are either the generation 6 or 7 iPads - I'm assuming then they support both?

I am pretty sure that the Generation 2 pencils are only for iPad Pro 2018 and above. The rest (if they support it) are Generation 1.

We picked some up from amazon for £30. I could find out on Monday which ones but they worked with our iPads but not with an iPad Pro
