gumbygaz Posted June 11, 2020 Posted June 11, 2020 When we first setup O365 we set it up so Exchange/Teams/Stream was disabled via powershell as we were moving more towards google and just needed students to use the Sharepoint site. Now, change of SLT and a pandemic we're now using Teams, which I've managed to get running. However, I can't get the Stream licence active for the students. Can anybody help with the powershell. We used this to disable the licence for the students. From what I've read removing Stream from the -DisabledPlans bit should then reactivate it? $LO = New-MsolLicenseOptions -AccountSkuId "**our tenancy and licence pack**" -DisabledPlans "POWERAPPS_O365_P2","EXCHANGE_S_STANDARD","MCOSTANDARD","YAMMER_EDU","FLOW_O365_P2","Deskless" then $acctSKU="**our tenancy and licence pack**" $AllLicensed = Get-MsolUser -All | Where {$_.isLicensed -eq $true -and $_.licenses[0].AccountSku.SkuPartNumber -eq ($acctSKU).Substring($acctSKU.IndexOf(":")+1, $acctSKU.Length-$acctSKU.IndexOf(":")-1)} $AllLicensed | ForEach {Set-MsolUserLicense -UserPrincipalName $_.UserPrincipalName -LicenseOptions $LO} I can't do it Azure because of the way RM Unify has put them in, they're individual accounts not using group based so it would be a manual process this way. Any tips greatly welcomed thanks! 1
huckerd Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 Do you have access to Azure dynamic group membership feature? Could always populate two dynamic groups, one for staff and one for students and then use those groups to automatically assign licenses. Initially it is a pain, as you will need de-allocate all licenses first - as you have used individual assignment
