Do you have access to Azure dynamic group membership feature? Could always populate two dynamic groups, one for staff and one for students and then use those groups to automatically assign licenses. Initially it is a pain, as you will need de-allocate all licenses first - as you have used individual assignment

Have a look at the certification path, one of the root or intermediaries certificates is not trusted by the machine, and you will need to install the correct certificate into the store.

I am currently in the same Cisco call Manager situation but currently researching freePBX and bolting iSymphony to it for our solution. We are looking to purchase the hardware via Sangoma reseller to delivery the solution. Anyone's input to 3CX or FreePBX would be appreciated.
