If you are looking for a well funded, informal, Independent school setting to enhance your management experience, as well as leading a technical service. Then keep reading....

 

You will have responsibility for day to day IT operations, under the direction of the (technical and strategic) IT Director, including managing the helpdesk, leading 2 experienced technicians and an apprentice as well as having technical input and direction

 

As you can imagine there are all the usual technical requirements of working within the schools environment (Hyper V, switching, networking, desktops, laptops, iPads, even mac's and a mac server) more information on this to come in the JD which is being constructed.

 

But most importantly will be the ability to manage the day to day IT service and deploy best practice across service delivery

 

Salaries @ £41/42K, v generous pension, free food during term time, 8am-4pm ideally, free parking locally, access to overground and tube within 10 min walk.

 

Current post holder is moving on to pastures new and a shorter commute, with handover the ideal start date is mid July, although this could be flexible if your notice period is longer.
