Undervolting CPUs - Any issues?

Afternoon All,

 

Following on from conversations around upgrading pc and waiting for the new releases in June, I was just wondering if anyone's found any issues with undervolting their CPU?

 

Seems it's getting sicker by the day and not liking the current heat even more than usual, only 86 degrees today!

 

 

Was thinking a quick undervolt might make it hold out longer, until the replacement hardware

dunno if this was covered in an earlier conversation - but have you tried just re-pasting the cpu to the heatsink?

 

what's your room's ambient temps?
