Dell T310 server memory issue

Hi

 

We have a Dell T310 server which had 4 x 4GB stick of Hynix HMT351U7BFR8C memory in slots a1 to a4. I added in 2 sticks of the same memory in to slots a5 & a6 but the memory not showing up in idrac, bios or Server 2019. If I swap the memory from alots a5 & a6 the other memory slots are still picked up.

 

Any ideas please as i'm stuck?

I think it might be to do with differences around UDIMM versus RDIMM memory configurations. Are you using a memory riser? See table 8 in https://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/pedge/en/poweredge-t310-technical-guidebook-en.pdf and other details - haven't quite got my head around your configuration, but the answer is probably in there somewhere!
