training_needed Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 Hi there Got a mac network with 20 macs and a xserve But one of my macs will not let anyboby log onto it unless they are local admin! I can get to it through ARD but still can not log onto it with a normal network user any ideas? matt

Rozzer Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 Can you take a look in the console logs to see if it brings up a error like 14002. It should be under system. Other thing you can try is restart your mac server or rebind to the domain. Ross
mactech03 Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 When you login as local admin can you ping the server or get on the internet? Also check and make sure no one has messed with dns on that computer. Good Luck.
BootManager Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 well, I would bet its not sorted, this is an ongoing problem for many people, the 'fix' might last a few days or weeks. I've just put a whole load of stuff about this problem on another post.
