Harlington_IT Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 So we've managed to stop students making video calls, but the school wants to block their ability to receive video from staff in meetings, while if possible, maintaining the ability of staff to hold video meetings between staff. Is this possible?
TechMonkey Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 Surely just have the staff turn off the video feed when they are talking to pupils?
Harlington_IT Posted May 1, 2020 Author Posted May 1, 2020 That's what they're having to do currently, it's been asked if it can be done automatically (you know how some teachers are at forgetting things even if it's themselves staring themselves in the face)
mdrabble Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 You could change a setting within their selected policy to disable IP Video BUT it disables it so they cannot override it for All meetings. So if you want staff to be able to show their cams in staff meetings then best not to change the policy and just keep reminding them to turn of their cams before the start the meeting.

mdrabble Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 No it doesn’t - not sure if there is a policy setting for audio. I know staff can mute all audio with in the team - but there is nothing from stopping people from re-enabling the audio themselves 1
